Checking the time
When the time of class is nearly up, teacher can use this following sentences for checking the time. It is very useful for teacher.
1. What time is it?
- What's the time?
- Could you tell me the time,please?
- Do you have the right time?
2. It isn't time to finish yet.
- The bell hasn't gone yet.
- We've/We're almost finished.
3. We have five more minutes
- We have five minutes over.
- We have an extra five minutes.
4. Carry on with your work until the bell goes.
- Carry on with the exercise for the rest of the lesson
- Sit quietly until the bell goes.
