What is your favorite festival?

My favorite festival is Songkran festival because it is the day
which I am able to get back home and live with my family.
I also like splashing water with beloved my friends.
On Songkran day, we will also go to the temple in the morning
spend the time together with family.
Moreover, we are going to pay a respect to grandmom and grandpa
I love call Songkarn day as a family day. =)

I like Song Kran day so much because it like a family reunion day.
All of members in my family comeback from a city where they go to do their works and spend time
together. We always have parties in everyday and talk to each other a lot. We have only 3 days to
stay together but it is a precious time in each year.

I think my favorite festival might be Songkran festival because my father will come back home. He works in Bangkok. He has holidays only two times a year which are New year day and Songkran festival. I like Songkran because it is longer than New year so we can spend time with family longer than New year day.

I like it because there are many many brands and artists around the world will come to the festival and perform.
The festival usally perform in the 2nd weekend of December every year.

I like the Thai festival which related to the Buddhist.
My favorite one in the festival called Illuminated Boat Procession (Lai Huea Fai).
This festival is held from the full moon day to the 1st day of the waning moon of the 11th lunar month. The dazzling procession is held to welcome the Lord Buddha back to Earth after preaching to his mother in heaven during the three-month period of Buddhist Lent. The the illuminated boats were 10-12 metres long rafts made of a banana trunk or bamboo. The raft was loaded with desserts, offerings, flowers, joss sticks, with candles and lamps to illuminate it before being launched onto the river. The biggest one is held in Nakornphanom province. I have been there once time with friend and I was very impressed about it.

It is celebrated in Thailand as the traditional New Year's Day from 13 to 15 April.
The traditional throwing of water is meant as a symbol of washing all of the bad away.
We can enjoy splash water to the others.
