There are many Youtubers or Youtube celebrities such as PewDiePie who make money from making a video and upload it on Youtube. But you need to be really famous though.
My favorite aspect about Youtube is you can learn new things!
There are surprisingly many educational channel on Youtube, most of them are in English.
My favorite educational channels are Ted-Ed, Vsuace, Numberphile, SixtySymbol, and CrashCourse.
I've learned many thing from Youtube. I wish I could make a famous educational channel in Thailand.
