What are the differences between studying in Thailand and the USA?

Most American teachers try to make the students more active in learning,
but most Thai teachers teach lessons by following the books.
For example, American classes usually have many activities
such as working in groups and studying outdoors.
Most Thai classes study in classrooms and rarely have extra activities like the American classes.

For me, I haven't never been USA before. I think the education in USA may be civilization.
I think studying in USA is freedom;teacher might give their student more freedom than Thailand.
For example, I will focus on the uniform. In Thailand, you have to wear the uniform to school but in the USA you do not.

Thai student and America student have difference style of learning.
Most of America student have more freedom to studying.
They are learning by doing under the activities inside classroom and outside classroom
but Thai student learning only the lesson in the classroom.

I can say that I don't know because I have never studied in the US but I have been studying with American teachers. The difference is that American teachers are very strict and punctual while Thai teachers are late sometimes. Thai teachers focus on grammar and the book while American would find something related to the unit and give us exercises to do. Some American teachers give us the task outside the book to do, too. There are many differences between Thai and Anerican teachers. I can't list in one day. It will be another topic to discuss.
