What is the difference between high school and university?

As now we are university student, I know that all of us here had experienced being a high school student.
The differences that I can see it clearly between both of them are;
- the concentration of the contents that we have to learn
- the freedom to choose subjects that we interest
- tasks and responsibilities
- activities both inside and outside our major
- friends from many province

So what is your difference between high school and university?

Life, for sure.. how to deal with many things so very different.
I used to think that high school was such a hard time of my life, but now
as a 3rdyear of EN it's very very hard more than that.

university
-Don't have to study almost all day.
-Students are free to come and go from campus at any time.
-Time is self-managed.

high school
Most of studying occurs inside the classroom.
Students are all the same age.

- I get up at 5 a.m. everyday.
- I learn 8 subjects per day and start class at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- I spend money only 60 bath per day.

University
- Each day in one week, I don't know the time that I get up. It depend on my schedule.
- I learn only 1-2 subjects per day and the time is indeterminate.
- I spend a lot of money. It's about 7000 bath per month.

There are very difference for me.
-In high school is very easy life because I lived at my home
so I had my mom and my dad take care of me.
-In high school, I did not pay so much things, just payed for my lunch
but my mom gave me about 3000 baht per a month so I can save my money
to buy the thing which I want.
But life in the university is more freedom but there are many activities
and many assignments, waorks to do. Although it is very freedom but I don't have
enough time to go to somewhere that I want.

I will focus on the differences of subjects we learn. At high school, we have to study several subjects.
I don't mean it's not good; we have to study generally for finding what we like to learn.
It' s time of searching what you will learn in the future.
At university, we choose the major we learn. We can study any subjects related to the major.
I think it' happier to study than at high school because have to study some subjects I don't like.
However, when we study higher, what we study will be depper.
We have to understand it very well because it will be useful for us in the future.

Most of your study occurs inside the classroom.

You are required to think critically, generate new ideas and learn independently. You are also required to find a large amount of materials on your own for assessments.

A significant amount of study takes place outside your classes. You need to study at least 2 to 3 hours outside of class for each hour spent in class.

I think the university make me learning to growth.
Because there is freedom for students. So we have
to design our time. And our life style by our self.
