In my point of view, using jokes in the classroom is benefit
because it can reduce the stressful about studying.
It can stimulate the students feel relaxed and active and it can improve the interaction between
teacher and students.

This is a good one submitted by Nick Henry, ESL teacher in Korea.

A man was pulled over for driving too fast, even though he thought he was driving just fine.

Officer: You were speeding.
Man: No, I wasn't.
Officer: Yes, you were. I'm giving you a ticket.
Man: But I wasn't speeding.
Officer: Tell that to the judge! (The officer gives man the ticket.)
Man: Would I get another ticket if I called you a jerk?
Officer: Yes, you would.
Man: What if I just thought that you were?
Officer: I can't give you a ticket for what you think.
Man: Fine, I think you're a jerk!

Here is a joke which is funny. But teacher has to consider when to play to joke. However, it is always good thing because it can decrease the stress.

Student : Are 'pants' singular or plural?

Teacher:They're singular on top and plural on the bottom.

One day an English grammar teacher was looking ill.
A student asked, "What's the matter?"

"Tense," answered the teacher, describing how he felt.

The student paused, then continued, "What was the matter? What has been the matter? What might have been the matter... ?"
